In mid-2005, Ervine Lin left the world of architecture to pursue alternative career prospects. Half a year later and after much tribulation StudioV Photography & Design was formed with him at the helm as Creative Director, Chief Photographer, Lead Designer and Official Toilet Cleaner. Ervine has been running the studio ever since without any regrets.

Professionally, the studio is focused on commercial work especially in the realms of product, interior, architectural photography and has chalked up a reputable clientele ranging from multinational companies to musicians to magicians.

Personally, Ervine loves photographing spaces and places. He travels as much as possible to see for himself beauty the world offers and captures this beauty with his camera. Following his childhood ambition to become an artist, he also works on personal fine art projects which range from photographing bicycles in third world countries to constructing his own cameras. Believing that knowledge should always be shared, Ervine conducts classes and workshops teaching fellow enthusiasts both traditional and digital photography. His studio is also open for rent to those who wish to dabble in studio photography.
